Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McClard stunned fans when they announced their relationship on the day of their wedding in 2018, just days after they were spotted out together for the first time. Four years after their N.Y.C. courthouse wedding ceremony, however, the couple split.
Though the pair are no longer together, they shared major moments during their relationship, including building a family of their own. Throughout their marriage, Ratajkowski posted many of the milestones with Bear-McClard on Instagram, including their honeymoon to Utah and the adoption of their dog, Colombo. In March 2021, the couple welcomed their baby, Sylvester Apollo.
Speaking with The Times, Ratajkowski explained that seeing her ex-husband’s behavior confirmed her suspicions about the nature of the entertainment industry. “And maybe that’s why right now I’m not really interested in men’s POVs,” she told the outlet. “Because they were lies. And I don’t mean infidelity. This is a f—ed up world. Like, Hollywood is f—ed up. And it’s dark. Obviously, it would be nice to be with somebody who’s in the industry or understands it, but I don’t think I can. That was what that essay was about … I had a hard time even being at a party like that. But then having a part of me that was so connected to it was even harder.” Ratajkowski did not specifically address the recent sexual misconduct allegations made against Bear-McClard.
Ratajkowski separated from Bear-McClard in July 2022 and has since filed for divorce. In the months since, she’s dated several high-profile celebrities including Pete Davidson, Eric Andre, and more. Just last month, photos emerged of her kissing Harry Styles. “There’s a million insane, inaccurate things about my relationships [that are said],” Ratajkowski told The Times. “I’m definitely still not thinking about guys,. Although, yeah. You know, sometimes things just happen.”
